Arts in the Park: Coming in August 2008 - Specific dates to be announced.

Arts of Bear Valley will present it's annual "ART IN THE PARK" show and sale in Jack Knight Hall.  Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. numerous artists and photographers will display their original works as well as prints and note cards.   The show is co-sponsored by CBTA and 10% of sales revenue is donated to the association for interpretive programs.

All About Lichens by Tom Hoffstra: : 10:00 AM to Noon Saturday Septemter 27. An interestesting and informataive presentation of ecological and ethno-botanical significance of lichens and how to recognize local species. Open to all. Reservations not requied. Our Disappearing Forests by Bruce Castle: : 10:00 AM to Noon Saturday October 4. Bruce, a member of Ebbetts Pass Forest Watch, will use aerial and ground photos to illustrate timber harvesting practices in the Central Sierra. Open to all. Reservations not required.
